This was challenging puzzle cache that took us to one of the landmark buildings in the centre of Cairns. The GPSR took us straight to the front of the building.
We then had to follow the paved path around the building answering questions about the mosaic pieces of art built into the path. These artworks give a great pictorial history and are
fascinating to contemplate. I must admit that effect of the white graceful building and the paved artwork was a bit offset by the putrid smell of bat urine that overwhelmed us as we made our way around the path.
But we persevered on like the hardy explorers we wish we were and eventually worked out the last clue.
We headed for the GZ in anticipation but we still had a lot of work to do. Firstly there were muggles everywhere and every time one group left another group came along. We had to scratch around in all the likely spots whilst all the time looking like two innocent middle aged men out for a stroll.
Eventually we found it!!!. The cache held a Geocoin "My Travelling Two cents"
We took it away and on checking it's log found that our task was to log our two cents worth on what peeved us. (you will have to go to the log to find out what my peeve is. We now have to move it on to another cache.
Wazza left a travelbug for the next cachers to take on a trip.
This was a good fun puzzle cache which still left us plenty of work after we found the GZ.
