Well I couldn't leave Thursday Island without hiding a cache. I went prepared with a Micro cache and found the perfect place for it to highlight the history of the place. The cache is overlooked by the impressive monument on the grave of Queensland's 7th Premier who is buried on Thursday Island.
There are also graves of many other dignitaries involved in the history of TI. If you go looking for it give yourself plenty of time to wander around and discover some of the history.
