Walking the Planks

Walking the Planks Found 7th November 2010 @ 14:38 My 10th find.

Whoo hoo Brahms6 is now into double figures.

This was a great puzzle cache. The original coordinates took us to the first location. We then had to count, add, subtract and divide to get the second set of coordinates. I, my wife (I am a bit nervous about calling her the Geowife) and the Geodogs counted away and the four of us got the same count.

So we found the second coordinates and the hunt was on. Again I found myself rolling around in the dirt and leaves and feeling around in dark place.

Eventually I found the little magnetic container with the log in it. I should mention here that the Geodogs had given up on the search quite a while before I did.

I enjoyed the spot and even though it is in the middle of suburbia and on a path through a park the creek edged with rain forest was beautiful. Spotted a fantastic iridescent blue Ulysses Butterfly. The colour takes your breath away and they are such show offs fluttering around to make sure they catch the sun. This was the second find for the day and we were on a roll. Thanks "Spinmeout" we enjoyed this one.
