Brahms6 found this one on 2nd January 2011 at 12:57, 72nd find. Well it may be heaven for dogs but for Brahms6 it was a hard slog. The cache is hidden in the middle of a swampy Rain Forrest area surrounded by wide open green parks that are approved for dogs.
The creek was up and the paths were thick with mud and blocked in places by water. On top of that the GPS went off as soon as I got into the trees.
But I perservered and with the help of thousands of mosquitos (this was when Mrs Brahms6 deserted me)eventually found the cache.
Actually this is a great spot and it shows off some of the natural tropics very well and it is in the middle of suburbia. I will bring the geodogs back for a run in the dry.
I left some plastic animals, signed the log and took the "Aussie track a bear" trackable.
