Powlett Park DIDO

Brahms6 found this one on 4th January 2011, 75th find.

This was a new cache very close to my home. I did not get a First To Find as I was beaten by Wazza&Kara and Spinmeout.

It is situated in a little park alongside the creek. The suburb we live in has creeks that circumnavigate it and a creek that runs through the middle. There are walking paths (90%) paved that follow the creeks on both sides and these break out into little green and maintained park area's. I assume that the developers didn't do it out of altruistic desire so I am going to thank the Cairns Regional Council. They certainly seem to take their byline "Cairns the City in a Garden" seriously.

The cache was a very neat little micro suspended in a tree. The geodogs enjoyed the walk although they made it very clear that it was over to quickly.
