What a fantastic site for a cache. I set off in the morning expecting a climb and I got it. This cache has got have had the best view of any cache I have found to date. the path up to the reservoir is like a fairway. It had been raining the night before and all the creeks and rivulets were running. The photo above does not do justice to view out over the Trinity Inlet.
This is a place that you want to bring visitors to Cairns even if they are not interested in cacheing, it is the absolute proof that we live in the most beautiful part of the world.
The geodogs accompanied me and they were very excited to see a very large feral pig run across the path into the scrub I am not sure what they would have done if they had actually caught it.
The cache itself was easily located even though it was guarded by a snake having a swim.
Signed the log and took the "Clear Water" travelbug and left the "10 Year Tag A Bondz 88" travelbug.
This is a fantastic spot I can just imagine an early morning tryst with a picnic blanket, chicken sandwiches, strawberries and pink champagne.
Thanks for the cache "waynecarly & chatmanais" I have given this one a favourite point.
