This cache is also hidden on Halloran's Hill in Atherton. I have wanted to claim this cache for a long time now. Because of the books.
The cache holds books and we are encouraged to take one or all of them. I have been past many times and carry a book in my car for exchange purposes just in case I got a chance to go in after it. You wouldn't believe it but the day I found it I had left the book out of the car so I was not able to leave one in exchange. I did take one and leave an IOU in the log.
There is an easy way to find this log and a hard way. I obviously chose the hard way. I continued on through the wet soggy Mabi Forest searching under trees and in hollow logs feeling sure that the very next place I looked would be the GZ. But no, eventually I broke out of the forest onto a wide open road. The GPSR almost instantly locked on and pointed me to a very short (10 Metres) and there it was, when I go back with the book I am taking the road. Although the walk in the forest was very enjoyable.
Signed the log took "Caesar by Colleen McCulloch and left an IOU and a cat and a plastic band.
I also took the "Kris-the kangaroo"travelbug" Kris was released in Germany in 2008 and has traveled 21,398.3 kilometers.
