Brahms6 found this one on the 15th January 2011 at 16:22, 86th find.Halloran's Hill in Atherton plays host to a remnant mabi forest and that is where this cache was hidden.
Our task was to locate a specific point indicated by the posted Coordinates and then walk on a specific bearing for a distance that was calculated from what we found at the original coordinates.
The tricky thing of course is that it has been raining for weeks and the paths were actually swamps. Further to that the paths do not follow a direct bearing so we had to meander through the forest for quite a distance before we located the cache. It was a beautiful walk through the trees and the little paddymelons (similar to a little wallaby) hopping around were entertaining.
Signed the log and took a possum and left a goose and a wristband.
